Welcome to Yes it's Digital Purpose The aim here is to develop a website showing various techniques and processes to help amateur Photographers improve their pictures. A site where we can share some of our knowledge about digital image manipulation, so that others might be encouraged. I have for sometime been involved in organising and helping with a "Digital Group" at the Bognor Regis Camera Club. With the help of Tony Broadribb, I also ran a workshop for a small group of beginners. From this it seemed a good idea to have some information in a place readily available to club members, and what better place than the web, where it would be also available to a larger audience. So this is an amateur photographers website, aimed at disseminating some knowledge to beginners and hopefully in a few months time, something of interest to those more advanced. It will take time to gather and compile the necessary lessons together. Invitation I hope that if you are skilled or have a good demo that you could share with fellow amateur photographers, you would consider contributing to the content. Sorry we do not pay you, but will give you full credit and copyright to your words and pictures, and provide a link back to you or your own website. All information will be based on Adobe products such Elements or Photoshop7, CS2, CS3. Unless authors send in demos using other software packages. I would therefore be delighted to receive enquiries from other digitally minded photographers to display their tips and suggestions. Email web@yesitsdigital.co.uk with your suggestions and I will get back to you very soon. Thanks for your interest.
