I have had an interest in photography for many years, however circumstances did not allow the opportunity to develop my interest, skills or knowledge of the art of picture making. Having retired I started my first attempt at this website, and bought a cheap 2Mega Pixel camera to gather a few pictures to add interest to the website. This rekindled my early passion for photography and soon needed  a camera with more functions, so bought a Minolta Dimage 7i, latter I progressed to a Nikon D70 and have now added a D80 with Image Stabilised lenses to the armoury!. So there is a lot to learn. Although totally hooked on the hobby, I must stress, I am an amateur, I do it because I enjoy it! From taking the pictures, the computer processing, printing, to mounting the final print, I make no claims as to my results.
