I have been asked by Pierre to add a few words to my section of the website.

I am fairly keen on photography but I suppose not enough to get up at 4am to catch a sunrise -- maybe I should work on this challenge!

Although I often wished I'd had the time and opportunity when I was younger to get involved in photography when I was more able to cope with the physical side of it, I am just very grateful I can do some now in my retirement years.  I also have an excellent Technical Manager (he reminds me) for assistance with Photoshop.

Another hobby is watercolour painting.  I am not an artist but I do enjoy attending the classes and producing some pictures.  I found the classes a real 'eye-opener' in the true sense of the word as one begins to look at familiar things like trees, clouds, flowers etc. and 'see' them differently.

I also have 2 grandchildren aged 5 and 9 so it is good to be able to play games with them, blow bubbles etc. without looking too daft.
